I don’t work out. It’s not a rule, just a fact. I don’t like going to gyms or leaving my house much at all (unless it’s to T.J. Maxx or IKEA). But when we moved and I started a job that had me sitting all day, I knew I needed to do something. I saw ads for The Pilates Class on Instagram (surprise!). They were offering a 7-day trial prior to subscribing and I decided to try it.

Personally, I love it. The instructor has such a calm voice. After having been to a couple of in-person Pilates classes back home, I also had a pre-determined idea of what a Pilates class was supposed to be like. The only thing that was missing for these classes was the instructor jabbing me in the lower abs that JUST DON’T TURN ON (all love to that instructor, my lower abs just don’t work). 

So when my Valiant (boyfriend) asked if I wanted to try doing a class every day in the month of March, I didn’t even hesitate before saying yes. I did hesitate after the fact, but I had already agreed. 

Basically, I’m sharing this information in hopes that maybe you will try it and love it and also to keep myself accountable. It is now in writing that I agreed to doing a month’s worth of pilates classes, so don’t let me forget it. I will check in along the way or perhaps just after the month is up.

My parting comment to you: you only have one body, don’t forget to take care of it and have fun with it. Or just do what I’m doing and work out because my apartment complex has a pool.
